It's Friday!

Whew...today was a busy day. We went to Target this morning so I could get Mikayla some gardening tools. She's very excited about planting flowers in the back yard this weekend. She got a pair of gloves, a knee pad, an apron, and a little rake and shovel. I'll be sure to take some pics of her and get those posted. After that, we went out to Costco to get some snacks and juices along with some pictures that my mom ordered to send to Justin. I went to the post office to mail him some stamps, pics, envelopes, and some paper. It seems like we were running around like crazy!
I got another letter today. Justin did pass his medical tests so there shouldn't be any reason he won't graduate on time. One of the things he had to test on was treating a penetrating chest trauma (anything that enters the chest... grenade debris, rocket, bullets, etc.) and also decompressing a tension pneumothorax (collapsed lung). He had guard duty from midnight to one a.m. and he had to be up at 4:15 to prepare for their barracks inspection, which they failed, so they had to sit outside in the rain for lunch, again. He's referring to it now as "a cold, muddy, hell of a place." Say a prayer for him when you think about it, please. He also told me that he will not have a leave after his graduation. He'll report straight to his duty station. I'm not sure where that will be yet, but I would think they will let him know sometime in May.
There is a pretty bad storm coming in tonight so we'll be inside. We've had rain for the past two days and it's starting to cool off. The girls played outside for a few hours earlier but their eating dinner now. Then it's bath time, reading time, and bed! Mikayla doesn't take naps now so she's cranky starting around four everyday.
