The Pacie Fairy came on Tuesday night and took Mikayla's pacie. She put it in an envelope and stuck it in the mailbox granting permission for her pacie to be given to a new little baby who needs one. We decorated a poster board with her name, lots of coloring and stickers, and a chart that displays five nights without her pacie. Each night she goes without it, she earns a surprise! We had ice cream yesterday and today we will be going to the library, without Allie, where we will sit and read as many books as she wants. If she goes without it tonight, tomorrow we will have lunch at McDonald's; the 4th night earns a trip to Incredible Pizza Cafe; and after the 5th night, we will get her ears pierced!
She did really good last night. The first night was hilarious! She flopped around on the couch like a fish crying for an hour and ten minutes, no exaggeration! I couldn't help but grin.
We should be almost over it by tonight but check back daily for more!
