Cabin Fever

Well, another week has passed. Same story, different day! Nothing much is going on. We had an awesome weekend. The weather gorgeous and the girls loved every minute of it. I took them to an Easter egg hunt this past Saturday at a church in Germantown. It was fun. We couldn't get into the field in time for the little ones to hunt but they did get a few eggs. They had puppet shows, face painting, snow cones, cookie decoration, balloon animals, and lots of other fun stuff. We came back to the house and all the neighborhood kids came down to play. They were outside well after the sun went down. Sunday started out really nice too. We were expecting thunderstorms but we didn't get a drop of rain. We started playing outside around 8:30, I made blueberry muffins for the kids, played some more, came in for naps, went back outside and finally came in around 7:00. A cool front blew in and the temps dropped rather quickly. Yesterday we didn't make it out of the 40's and today, while it's a little warmer, it's too cool for the girls to play outside with the wind blowing like it is. Tomorrow we'll be back in the 70's and sunny! I can't wait. This cold weather really throws me off. Perhaps because the kids are so used to being outside that when they have to stay in, they go nuts!
I've gotten more letters from Justin. Things are still going well. He has some really funny stories. He was voted by his platoon to be squad leader but since he is on range detail he can't. He is going to try and work it out though because he'd much rather be squad leader. I'll let you know what I hear back from him.
I don't have much else for now. I'm sure I'll have lots to talk about this coming weekend with it being Easter. I hope everyone is doing well. We miss you guys!
